Sawyer had some complications when he was born. His lungs were full of fluid and "junk" so they took him straight to intensive care. He has been on oxygen and antibiotics. They were nervous he would get pneumonia, but this morning they said his X-Rays are better than before and he does not have an infection.
They have been weening him off of oxygen, and today we got to hold him and he was able to breastfeed. He will hopefully be moved from NICU to Special Care tonight, and can come home next week. The doctors are all confident that he will be great! No long term affects.

CONGRATS you guys! all natural? Way to go Tab!! So excited for you guys! Glad Sawyer is doing better and hope you get to bring him home soon! Cant wait to chat and hear all about it--especially because Ill be living it soon:) britt
