A Typical Day

Now that summer is here, and I have a couple of months off of work, Sawyer and I have gotten into a nice routine. He sleeps in until 8:30 or 9:00. He watches one or two of his shows and eats breakfast. Then we take our showers and get ready for the day. Some days we go to Seven Peaks or the pool at our clubhouse. Most days we go on a long walk or bike ride. Sawyer likes to stop at the creek by our house and look for fish and bugs. There are always kids outside in our neighborhood and so we usually stop to play at the playground or in someone's yard. Usually, I can wear Sawyer out enough that he will take a 2 or 3 hour nap and I can try to clean my house, or just relax. In the evenings after all the dad's get home and everyone has had dinner, all the parents gather in someone's yard and the kids play until almost dark. Summer has been so relaxing and stress free. In just another week our sweet baby girl will be joining us...
